If you need any help with it, let me know. I was honestly impressed, it can even handle a real Secam signal, I recorded a couple of French vhs tapes using it with no problem.

Yes, absolutely you can do that. Just click the Config button (upper left as shown in the picture), then go to the Graph 1 (Device) tab. Then you can click on the Recording tab to set the video and audio codecs you want to use.

Alright, the capture card arrived some time ago, I've recently gotten around to playing with it.
What are the best AmarecTV settings? Deinterlace or not? If yes, which setting? Any other specific options? So far I've only tried capturing from an old Video8 camera, I didn't manage to get my hands on a working VCR yet. |
