IIRC, The Matrix Online had Neo existing in the Matrix, so he could still be physically dead in the real world. I don't see how they would bring Trinity back though.
@PDB I completly agree and was pretty certain they we're going to do it this. I didn't really like the idea of Young Moupheus movie, although it would of been better as a 'netflix' series
I'm strangely not against a Matrix sequel but would of preferred a different story with different characters in that world. The world of the Matrix is still ripe for exploration. No matter how you feel about the sequels, it completed the Neo/Trinity story.
@fandeep. Have a quick read of the site rules bud, It explain's why you have had no answer. It's more a community here and not a download site. Welcome to Fanress good sir.
@PDB thanks for replying, yes i commented in The THing Fundamental collection, by Sporv, i got no reply, that is why i am asking here. You saying that movie is nowhere to be found ??
Actually Blomkamp made only three feature films; I liked all of them - and still hoping for District 10 - and liked also his latest three shorts - Zygote is creepy (in a good way!)
So, my curiosity for the IMAX version of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol came up again today and ended up in this forum, found a thread that is already cancelled, but I'd like to know if there is a way to get the movie they said it is already reworked
The question is not forbidden but hosting/direct linking of copyrighted material in fanres proper is against the rules. There is no one place to find anything as each project is handled by and the responsibility of the project owner who created it. If you posted in the project thread and no one answered, the project might not be avaible anymore. Sorry
Yeah he doesn't exactly have time left to waste on projects he doesn't want. I'll bet Robocop Returns will be worse than Robocop 2014. Anyway, Kershner's film was a perfectly acceptable sequel IMHO
He's not blacklisted, he just doesn't want to make formulaic stuff and be stripped of his creativity by Hollywood who (in his words) thinks the audience is dumb. He only went to Hollywood in the first place because he couldn't get movies made in Holland anymore, now he can he's very happy making films in West Europe. He did go on record saying that if he had made Elle in the US (as he had originally planned to do) that the entire third act would have had to be completely different. There's no way he would want to direct a Robocop sequel, he's 81 and still working, he has better/original projects to work on.
@CSchmidlapp Verhoeven won't ever work in Hollywood again, and especially not for a sequel to a film he already made. Plus he's already making a new movie. @Evit I don't think Blomkamp was "fired" from Alien, he just never developed his film beyond a concept. Ridley Scott said no script had been presented. But yeah I wouldn't have any confidence in Blomkamp either.
I wouldn't have confidence in Blomkamp either, after District 9 they were all half-disastrous (with Chappie being nail in the coffin). After Chappie he was fired from the Alien series and his involvement with big productions have gone dry, making double the cost of production is just not cutting it from a business point of view. Plus, not counting District 9, they are all dumb (not in a fun way) movies, but here I'm taking personal opinion
Yeah only one, District 9, and it's nowhere near the quality of Paul Verhoeven's Robocop. Anyway he's off his "dream project" which clearly means MGM, the studio famously not known for creative interference, had no confidence in him!
Yes but his reason for leaving is rubbish. He told a producer "I have always wanted to do this, this is my dream project" https://hnentertainment.co/exclusive-ed-...rs-return/ I'll bet he was fired as a writer and it went downhill from there. Blomkamp has only made one good movie, and he already left (or was fied) from "Greenland" earlier this year too.
Neill Blomkamp is off Robocop Returns. Hmm, maybe he shouldn't have been making promises about a movie that didn't even have a completed script?! Just like "Alien 5"... https://twitter.com/NeillBlomkamp/status...8535439360
Depends on your taste/personality. Personally I would say no. You definitely need to see Infinity War to understand Endgame, but that's about it. The other movies are connected and tell what happened before, but that connection is only skin-deep and unless you tend to nerd out about little references here and there, it probably doesn't matter.
The interesting thing is that a lot of these articles assume that the trailer would have been available in HD now if it wasn't pulled in cinemas. That's not really true, even the Matrix trailer didn't exist in HD until I had it transferred! https://vimeo.com/212361397 and that's the same with many, many iconic trailers.
Yeah, but I would have avoided naming people (even if just forum nicknames) or the forum... and especially not the scanning company.. if sony/columbia tristar is going to sue... they have infos
I don't think the attention hurts, read the youtube comments everyone's very positive about that upload (and almost 600,000 views too!) Plus every other article on it is positive too - and there seems to be lots of them.
I've spent the weekend and last few days in hospital as my daughter got herself in some trouble, and it was touch and go for a while. I might be offline for the rest of the week.
