You ever just have that dumb thought where you know it's something that probably no one will ever make but you would want to see if it was a thing for the sheer ridiculousness of the concept? Stranger Things: Super-8 Digest
SCART isn't exactly RGB as stated earlier- it CAN carry RGB, but it sometimes doesn't. I assume you're talking about this in a context for retro gaming, so in this case, it's easier to get a SCART to Component converter box than gamble on a cable. Much safer.
@IcePrick Afaik, SCART can carry RGB (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCART), but that doesn't mean that every device with SCART connectors supports those. In other words, SCART supports multiple different types of signals. If a device has a scard output, but only sends the composite video through that, that RGB adaptor cable will not give you any output signal.
to answer your questions: IVI and Megogo are legal streaming platforms, as Amazon and iTunes; is it possible to find their versions out in the wild, but frankly I dunno where - and, in that case, I'm not allowed to write it here!
shamar: to get more attention, I'd start a thread in the forum - for example on "Official and unofficial releases"; you will get surely more attention, as not everyone here read the shoutbox.
My questions are: Am I right? Someone could know these sites. And what are these sites? Some russian legal paysites? And probably last question: is there to find that version somewhere else?
So... I found by accident "Rogue One" OM on some russian site. Clear version without logos. But the site (probably people here know it open-matte.ru) was taken down.
However the HD master aren't complete, as the Blu-ray authors cut a bit of Papagallo speech, probably due to not having the complete audio on the foreign dubs. This results in foreign dubs still being out of sync during that moment though.
The "Mad Max 2" title card started appearing on the Warner HD-DVD and then the Blu-Ray releases. This is beacuse the HD master used for those releases were made from the OCN that was confirmed to the International/Australian version. The "Road Warrior" subtitle was added to the US theatrical release and was widely seen on versions released prior to the HD-DVD/BDs
Ruppi, sometimes private trackers are used, im not going to list any of them, but since they are private you need to apply for the when they have open registration
No, there is'nt any thread, because we do not host any download links... this is the place to work on projects, to help each other.. but for the Download stuff there plenty enough other sites in the wide wild web...
SF's Phantasm II BD was an older Universal HD master and not their own new scan, hence it's issues. As it went OOP due to Universal's US rights expiring and now owned by Don Coscarelli, it was inevitable a rerelease with a new remaster was coming at some point with Well Go's partnership.
Well that previous master was by Shout! Factory back in 2013 (which seems OOP now and outdated technically when compared to the newer remasters for the rest of the series, so I suppose that's all a good reason why a new restoration is in order). I'm assuming this new master will be helmed by the same people–and Coscarelli–at Bad Robot, so I have hopes that it'll look considerably better (with–hopefully–the excess reddish hue removed).
Is it confirmed to be the the actual Roadshow Extended Cut, the OT poster said lets wait and see and the attached article only mentions it will be an extended version.
Hey so if anyone here is an avid Netflix capper, here’s something that may be interesting: Hateful Eight is getting its exclusive Roadshow Extended Cut released on 4/25
On that UHD-BD the Auro3D and the Dolby Atmos are noted to be mixed by different people... so they might be two unique mixes... also turbine stated that they hat seperated M&E Track and seperated Voice Track for TCM so they could really mix from quite the scratch...
Cheers spoRv! It's on June 16th for USA -- never understood why we all celebrate certain universal things like Father's Day on different days, we should all agree on the same day lol
The point is, that such rooms are made to be representable for such things, and I think regurlar people seldom got a perfect room, if they do not really have a specific "home theatre"-room. I thought of going to a Teufel Store, to check tif they have an atmos setup to listen to it, but the store in Essen is very small, and not very good...
May be best to go to some big store that has an audio section that has a test room for it. I can imagine that would exist, tho I could be wrong. It's always best to see for yourself than to read about it, like with HDR. Personally haven't listened to Atmos so far.
Anyone a Dolby Amos setup, yet? I like the idea, but I do not have room (and money) to reset my living room into Dolby atmos, but I would like to read some impressions apart from magazines and professional reviewers...
If some people want to talk more than just on the Forum, there still possibilities for them to do so. And if someone wants some talking, he still can do somekind of temporary voice chat somewhere for his specific topic.
Also there are seldom really much people online at the same time, due to time zones. I do not think that a discord server really would be neccessary, also I do not know if it won't be just either chaos, or people being silent, not knowing what to talk about.
I was thinking about it, but then all the content is in the hands of a third party who can pull the plug for whatever reason they like, so I kind of discarded the idea
Netflix (Germany) has a faulty German audio stream at the moment (at least yesterday evening). They seem to missed out the front center, so there are only the music/effects/surround sounds. (So some of center shouting in german), but no dialogues...
