It's fair to say that when people refer to the BD in this thread they're talking about the 'archival' disc (TC, IC, DC).

Same question as Alien. What subs do people want to have on this project? The BD has: English, French, and Spanish. Which is a pretty short selection. If someone else has something they want to add and that is synced, I can add that space permitting.

I still can't help but think the Criterion is a bit contrasty. Not as bad as the Embassies, but not quite like the prints I've seen. I do think some of the alternate color is from the '82 release but how much is anyone's guess.
I swear if we could scan the 35mm DC our troubles would be over. Because it turned into such a rush job, practically all they did was make the most gorgeous and perfectly printed print right off the young negative.
Better than the 35mm FC, Better than the DCP FC.

Well there was that '82 LPP that I'm still upset about not getting. Scanning that print would of answered so many questions but the pics along proved that the archival BD are wrong. Is the CC LD right? Who knows. That why I've taken to calling this just a regrade to the LD not the correct theatrical timing (but hopefully it is closer). I should rename this thread to that effect.
Anyway, the Embassis are from release prints (have cue marks) so that would explain the contrast. Not sure where the CC comes from.
Scanning a DC would be amazing. I bet since those were printed in such low number that finding one in a collector's hand would be almost impossible.
