Hi there. I'm a brand new member with no posts, so I'm assuming this is why I can't PM; Some kind of anti-spam measure or similar. I joined because I found a thread on this forum wherein a member mentioned having a workprint of The Football Factory which is something of a white whale for me, and he said to anyone wanting a link to PM him. I can't find any information about who can and cannot PM, so I was hoping someone could enlighten me.

Don't worry, I've been in your shoes. Just stick around on the forum, make some posts and eventually you'll be marked as "Registered". You can make all the PMs you want from there.

On OT new members can send messages right away, you could always try that if the person you're trying to message has an account there. I've had very productive messages before from new members (even members with zero posts). However - the person I think you're wanting to message hasn't been online (here) in a few months, so your message would likely fall on deaf ears if you could send it anyway.

So you need a total of one post to be able to use this functionality
