Haven't seen it yet. Still planning on seeing it tomorrow. Now that the question has been raised, I'll pay attention to the logos.

Somebody surreptitiously shot a few seconds of an Alamo Drafthouse screening. I presume it's the 4K.

Just saw it: regular static orange on blue sky WB opening logo. No change in the color palette that I could notice, so subtle if any. But of course, the tennis ball and toys are back to yellow! Be relieved. Also, you can see the helicopter blades rotating on top of the screen in the opening shot of the hotel.

The helicopter blades have always been slightly visible, even in a matted presentation. Thanks for the field report!

It was the US cut.

No change in the color palette compared to which version? What about the soundtrack?
Compared to what I always remembered the movie to look like. Most recent recollections would be the BD and previous DCP. Maybe there were some changes, but nothing obvious like the remasters of 2001 or Batman. In this case, I would need to see previous masters and the new one side by side to spot differences if any.
The sound was multichannel and would kill fragile ears when the score goes high pitch. |
