Can someone tell me what track has been used for the 35mm print that has been floating around for the past year-or-so. I'm doubting it being the original Stereo optical track, but could easily be wrong.

The 35mm optical stereo is magnificent. The BD 4.1 might have been a contender if it had been presented in something more fitting than noise-reduced Dolby Digital. Was the THX 5.1 ever capped?

From what I could tell, the 5.1 between the LD and BD were virtually the same—apart from better encoding.

It was indeed capped and was a soundtrack option on PDB's WOWOW project a little while back
