In the released thread. There is a supposedly finished project for the Back to the Future trilogy UHD synced to the original theatrical laserdisc audio. Did this project actually release, and is it available for me to possibly acquire anywhere?

Dude, you already asked for it twice. And now you go the extra mile of creating a thread just to ask for it a third time? You need to realize one thing: you're a newbie, and not one making a good impression as of now. You need to read the rules. You're not going to get squat until you get involved in this place. This is neither a torrent site nor a data base with download links to click on.

This is neither a torrent site nor a data base with download links to click on. I thought I had read over the rules, and i didn't realize I'd be doing anything wrong by making those posts, or this thread. I apologize profusely. I'm just a big fan of unaltered theatrical restoration projects. What do i need to do to fall in line with the etiquette this forum? Cause again, I really have read the rules multiple times so beyond that i just don't know. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or take advantage of anyone's hard work. I just wanted to show my father the films he loves the way he saw them originally. The only reason i even made this thread was my first 2 comments were inadvertently posted to dead threads started by members who haven't been active in years. I am very new to this and am more used to setups similar to what the Originaltrilogy.com has, where they index most finished projects with direct ways to download. I apologize again for any negative feelings i caused. Should i delete the thread?

You just take part in conversations, you give your two cents or expertise on some matters. Stating the obvious will not do it, so have something interesting to say. There's a thread called "what are you watching?" for instance, where you can write quick reviews of stuff you recommend to other members. Look around, I'm sure there are threads where you can intervene without asking for stuff. And after a couple of months of putting yourself on the map in a clever way, we'll get to know you and help you get stuff that interest you. You can't just sign in and ask for stuff right away.

Understood! Thank you for clarifying that for me. I dearly appreciate what these communities and their members do, and i completely understand where your coming from in regards to just joining and asking for links. I certainly don't have the skills or know how to do what all the wonderful creators here are doing, so for me to just pop in and ask for a direct link is a bit ridiculous. I won't do that again. I'll try my best to make a name for myself here in the meantime. |
