Yeah, I see what you are saying and NOT arguing that this is the "official" compliant frame rate... weird that I have not had problems playing 23.976fps on a BD when only using 720p (this is true on my stand-alone BDplayer and on my PS3) Regardless, I'm not sure if the release will be big enough for a BD-25 and I might release the project as an AVCHD9... I guess I have some more tests ahead of me once the video is assembled. At least I'm working on all of it in lossless format so making a "final" decision will be easy
