What someone can spot, though, is a 23.976-to-24 conversion glitch - if any, and if detectable in practice - while there are no contraindications playing a 24fps movie at 23.976fps - apart "ethical" ones.
Yep. No problems doing it either way in practice so long as the disc is done correctly, which it is in this case. Thanks a ton, btw, for your TFC version of Halloween. It was/is fantastic, and was my basis for the “revised extended cut” on the spleen (which will remain my go-to version of the film when I want to watch it with the TV scenes intact). Amazing work.
