A lot of the CG torrents are unfortunately no longer seeded.

Hi. It's been a while. What's the news ?
@The Aluminum Falcon: Have you been able to to recover the data of your crashed drive ? Will you be able to share with us the final result of your work on Dracula ? @crissrudd4554: Any luck on obtaining Frankenstein fron the TCM website ? I would have capture it if I could, but the fact that I don't live in the USA and that I don't have a VPN (still looking for a good one that is really good to work with torrents and not too expensive) prevent me to do so, sadly. Also, TCM ask to check which American television company is your provider in order to allow the streaming. Good luck in finding any alternative. To all: Can a fan edit of Murder in the Rue Morgue be of any interests ? If yes, I'll try to upload it soon and share it with you.

Sadly I was not able to capture Frankenstein since the capture devices I had wouldn't be able to capture the HD quality and it's no longer on OnDemand so I can't get it now. I did however record the uncensored 'God' line and sent it as an audio file to jerryshadoe. He's yet to inform if it's useful or not. Since the quality of the audio on the TCM version was somewhat closer to the BD probably not. In other news I may have finally perfected, to my standards at least, on capturing my VHS tapes to my desired video and audio specifications. I should have an answer to that tomorrow so maybe that will lead to additional projects. I'll let everyone know.

No,

However, I do have a well-encoded BD25 that (save for one flash frame during a transition) is fairly flawless. I can upload that eventually, but I'm honestly just swamped with my regular life right now. By "(save for one flash frame during a transition)", what do you mean exactly ? Is it gone too ? Thanks to answer

Because the version is restructured, during one added fade to black, you see exactly one frame of the original scene that was there before the picture fades out completely. It's not terribly distracting, and, like I pointed out, Dracula did have a flash frame when it was first released (in the opening credits).

Ah, ok then. Thanks for the clarification. I wonder if there is a possible way to restore the original opening credit in HD (or even higher quality) ? That'll be interesting. Does anybody know if those flash titles are also on the 75th anniversary DVD ?
