There are a lot of trailers in every DTS cinema CD-ROM, usually; probably there is this, too.
Should check it, but can't find the old HDD where those files reside...

For what it's worth, I believe that's the same DTS trailer that played on those old Superbit DVDs as well.

Yes indeed. This is by all accounts an alternative scan of the trailer as seen in theatres. Apparently initial DTS releases in the first year featured the short trailer which fades to black after the disc disintegrates, later releases featured the long version which we all know and love. It was replaced by the piano 'sonic landscapes' after people complained it was too intense!
I did some digging and the trailer is indeed attached to the print and therefore the cd-rom. So it should be a case of pulling the file from a suitable cd-rom.

Possibly dumb question, but any particular reason to believe that the audio from the cinema version will be significantly different from the home theatre DTS logo? I'm not really familiar with the food chain there.
Anyway, Jetrell Fo will definitely be your man if the domestic is no substitute for the real thing - PM him.

I guess it's possible the cinema track is more dynamic.

I just thought it would be neat to have an actual cinema preservation, that's all.
