I really do though. The lack of color calibration being the big elephant in the room. If you have a wide gamut display or noticeably wider than sRGB, the browser player will ignore that and just send the sRGB/Rec709 data to your display as if it was in the display's calibrated colorspace. So all the colors will look ugly, oversaturated or plain off. Noticing this a lot with my new display actually. Reds become oversaturated and purple etc.
Okay granted, this is a bit of my personal obsession so there's that.
But once you see it, you can't unsee!
Edit: This is also why I can't use VLC anymore. Just looks horrible.
