This!

Day of Reckoning absolutely flipped the franchise on its head and is outstanding!

Can't help but think there is another story tucked away between Regeneration and Day of Reckoning

John Hyams is a talented man.

There have been some pretty good DTV releases over the past few years.
I keep my eye out for Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White releases with glee Smile

My original idea was to release a more traditional Double Bill on BD25, containing both the films with added extras

Grindhouse was a great concept, the Cinema Idents and Trails really added to the experience.
Id dipped into this film for said assets.
It’s not a ‘grindhouse presentation’ as there would be no added ‘scratches and dirt’ to the films or trailers used (or maybe that would be cool?).

Ive already patched it altogether but lack a few assets mentioned below.

The trailer selection for the open and Intermission we’re selected on the basis that they cover Van Damme’s other colaborations with Hong Kong directors.

Hard Target
Maximum Risk
Replicant (Grabbed from You Tube so looking for Better Quality Version)
In Hell (Grabbed from You Tube so looking for Better Quality Version)

Absent is Corey Yuen’s ‘No Retreat No Surrender’ which in my mind is a different kettle of fish.

Final output is 2:35:1 Aspect Ratio so all material converted to this AR where applicable.

Here is a brief over view of the ‘Double Bill’ running order.

Fan Edit Warning
Studio Idents
Coming Soon Ident
Hard Target Trailer
Feature Presentation Ident
Rated R Ident
Double Team
- Re-Titled The Colony
Previews Ident
Maximum Risk Trailer
Replicant Trailer
In Hell Trailer
Feature Presentation Ident
Rated R Ident
Knock off
Double Feature credits with Easter Eggs

What do you think? Overkill?

I liked Double Team. More than just a guilty pleasure for me. I especially like the part where Van Damme escapes the colony and the training he does before the escape. Knock Off I don't remember very well. I heard it's not as good as Double Team
