I have no need to see it on BD, I saw it in a movie theatre on 35mm a couple of months ago. Tongue

Now if i'm correct, wasn't the Dolby Surround track a slightly different mix (prepared for theaters that weren't equipped for Dolby Digital and DTS) than the 5.1 mixes as with other films of this era? I remember hearing that the Dolby Surround on JP was a different mix than the theatrical DTS.

yeah, the Dolby Surround mix of Starship Troopers is a Different mix that was made for Dolby SR 35mm Optical Analog prints, and VHS/TV/Laserdisc.

No problemo, the sync is probably as easy as placing the audio exactly where it begins, with not reel changes or frame missing problems.

Not yet, I have a backlog of about 3 projects I need to clear first before I get to this one, but I'm running out of space and these days hard drives are hard to get due to all the stores being closed.
