Your receiver also should indicate if the DTS-ES track is matrix or discrete version.
If it is the ES-discrete variant and nothing else will decode it, if your receiver or processor has pre-amp outs, set everything to unity and do a recording from those. Multi-channel audio capturing hardware will of course be required, but it is possible.
