UHD BD to BD?
The test I did on The Mummy using (hue=0,sat=0.9,bright=-1.5,cont=0.9) didn't quite look saturated enough in some scenes so am going to try 0.95 and then 1.0 and see how that goes.

Here's for Patriot Games full conversion (hue=0,sat=1.25,bright=0,cont=1.07)

Here's for A Few Good Men full comparison. The old master was very red, damn!

Blu-ray / Ripbot conversion (hue=0,sat=1.06,bright=-2,cont=0.85):

Here are a couple of screenshots from my final very slow 2 pass 30mbps encode of The Mummy (hue=0,sat=1.0,bright=-1.5,cont=0.9), looks much better than my original default encode which was to bright and better than the encode over at the German forum. Would be nice to know your thoughts on the sequel, Beber, if you get around to it:

I dont understand. Me using the same settings doesn't look the same. Yours is darker and a lot more saturated than mine, and way too much for my taste.

Was your Sat 1.0, I thought you decided on 0.9, I'm using 1.23.1. As they say each to their own, personally prefer the saturation stronger on this film especially in the second screenshot, but your Cont and Bright were spot on. Doing a test on Returns at the moment using the same settings.

My sat was 1.0 using Ripbot v1.23.1, too. I suggested you to go a bit below 1.0 in sat because my test at 1.0 looked a bit too much on some shots, and on Leboswki, too. But the pics posted just above are supposed to result from the same settings, that's very odd.

Maybe its because I took them on my laptop using EVR custom (LAV Filters) in MPC-BE instead of MadVR (Lav Filters), I 'll retake them on my htpc later and see. What did you use.

I made those pics in MPC-HC/MadVR.

Yea, got a feeling it's that, my bad, although that second screenshot still looks a little under saturated to me. I will post updated screens later.

Here they are. Not exact frame but now look similar to yours, in future I'll take all my screenshots on my htpc like I usually do.

So far the Returns test is looking ok (maybe just a touch bright in the beginning scenes)with these settings so will wait on your thoughts before I do a full encode.
