I don't have it yet, but I will say based on a Blu-ray.com review that it looks better than other Blu-ray releases of this film, period, warts and all.

Blu-ray.com Wrote:Using the Donner Special Edition as a guide, MPI worked to smooth out transitions from scene to scene and preserve consistent color in such key visual elements as Superman's red, white and blue uniform. Several months of work were devoted to creating a watchable experience without jarring shifts in quality. ... Switching back and forth between the two cuts also reveals meaningful differences in contrast, color timing and, on occasion, framing, as well as a more pronounced grain texture in the Extended Cut. ... While MPI did use Donner's Special Edition as a reference, it has not attempted to reformulate the Extended Cut to ape the approach of Donner and his restoration team.

Blu-ray.com Wrote:Some fans may even prefer this color timing to that of the Special Edition, which was widely criticized for revisionism.

Watched it last night. I can say to anybody who is a fan of this film definitely should purchase this.
Does anyone know if the 10 seconds of footage from this 1980 WCI Home Video VHS/Betamax tape made it into the Extended TV Cut?

As far as we fans can tell, the only difference between this remastered version and the version that appeared on tv, is that the scene where Lex is beating up Otis for getting the wrong missile calculations holds on the take of Gene getting out of the drivers seat and Eve taking the wheel. The tv version shows 2 obvious stunt doubles with "Otis" laying on the medic vans gurney, hanging onto the back of truck almost falling onto the ground while the van is in motion. The audio, however is *I believe* the same in both versions.

Just watched this last night, I know late to it. The only difference I could notice on first viewing was the deleted scene with them hanging out the back of the ambulance. Also a few shots appeared to have been cropped and trimmed. Just noticed this: https://www.wbshop.com/products/supergirl-bd appears the success of the dvd has paved way for another title from WB Archieve.
