Ya, the only thing that seems to work for me is Sound Forge.

You can always try VirtualDub; I use it for any audio and video capture.

Well my virtualdub will not even display any video if I have audio set to spdif for some reason lol.

And its annoying but I have to record video and audio separate because I have a separate player for audio (that has Coax for AC-3 RF Out) and one for video (that one has only Optical out for the AC3 which my soundcard can't work with).

and BeSplit output is this

[00:00:00:000] +------- BeSplit -----
[00:00:00:000] |  Input : test.wav
[00:00:00:000] |  Source Sample-Rate: 48.0KHz
[00:00:00:000] |  Channels Count: 3, Bitrate: 640kbps
[00:00:00:000] |  Output : test2.ac3
[00:00:00:000] +---------------------
[00:00:00:000] |  Writing test2.ac3
[00:00:00:000] +---------------------
[00:00:00:000] Operation Completed !
[00:00:00:000] <-- Process Duration

-------------
Which for some reason seems to get different bitrate/channels each time I do it.
What software do you use for your recordings? and what exact besplit command.

If you're getting anything other than "Channels Count: 5, Bitrate: 384kbps"  it means that there is likely to be some resampling or sync issue happening.  For some reason BeSplit only reports 5 channels, even thought it's really 6.  My advice is to go in and change some of the settings in your M-Audio control panel before recording.  I've found that changing settings and the returning to the correct format right before recording can help fix sync issues with my M-Audio card.

You can also use bsconvert.exe (here: http://www.ac3filter.net/wiki/AC3Filter_tools#bsconvert) to get your ac3 stream unpacked.  I like it because it's less typing.  ex:

bsconvert input.wav output.ac3

Thanks for the bsconvert link.
You have this M-Audio card (or a similar one?). Could you tell me what settings work for you and or which ones you are referring to changing before recording?

My control panel is really simplistic and doesn't have many options, even the one in the manual has more options lol.

Glad you got it working. I don't actually have the same M-Audio card. I've got the M-Audio Transit, which is a usb device. The only difference in settings is that the Transit doesn't require you to set it to external sync. My guess is that that is the only way it functions when using the spdif input.

I've been trying for a few days to capture the AC-3 (Dolby Digital 5.1) via S/PDIF RF Demodulator from Laserdisc, unfortunately, I get after recording only the stereo 2.0.
My sound card is Sound Blaster Z by Creative and 6 Fire 24/96 by Terratec, both sound cards can work in my home cinema sound with 6 speakers.
For recording on the PC of Windows 10, I set "What U Hear" as the default, but DD5.1 is not recorded.
Do I need an S/PDIF splitter, because it has a copy protection, right?

Can someone maybe help me?

Laserdisc AC-3 is padded within a standard 16-bit 48kHz PCM stream. You will have to recover the AC-3 using BeSplit

Do you mean, I should copy and paste from 2 channels to 6 channels (upmix) and edit that like what MeGui or Adobe Audition can do that?

No, BeSplit is a utility which among other things can be used to extract laserdisc AC-3 from the captured PCM stream.
