Well, apart very rare instances, open matte IS NOT full frame; it has more image on top and/or bottom, but usually less on one or both sides; sometimes, an open matte version includes also cropped shots.
At the end, each open matte version is different from another one, and should be analyzed to understand if it's full, partial, cropped, or, usually, a mix of them. That's why we "need" the UAR version!
