Cool, glad to hear there's been improvements to that. The DTS parser is a good idea (I got the idea from someone on originaltrilogy.com), but it adds an unnecessary layer of complexity to what is basically just a bit comparison.

Did a few further tests today burning the reference track to Cd and ripping it. Hopefully someone can verify everything is good with their capture setup and I’ll update the main package.

Hahaha I did wonder. I briefly entertained the notion that Alex might be 80 and "request a download" was just old people speak for "click the link"

Link has been updated with a new version of the app (1.0). It now has an option to check the headers against your reference as well (currently checks number of channels, bit depth, and sample frequency), as well as some code cleanup and optimizations.

Just updated the download to version 1.1. I incorrectly assumed all WAV headers were 44 bytes, leading to some files failing the format checks. That's been fixed now, and I also made the tool a little more agnostic so it could be useful for other purposes. The noise generator can now generate 8-24 bit depth, 8k-96kHz sample rate, and mono or stereo. I left the default to CD/Laserdisc standard for simplicity's sake. The Bit Perfect tester will also work with any spec uncompressed PCM files, so you could compare say two 24-bit 48kHz Mono PCM tracks from different Blurays releases or something if you wish.
