Citizen Kane: Criterion 50th Anniversary Special Edition (1941) Laserdisc PCM
#1

https://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/03856/CC1...al-Edition
16-bit, 44.1khz, Mono (bit perfect) 1.18 GB, PM for the link.

The soundtrack is mono but is preserved as a stereo track (left and right are identical) as it is on the laserdisc.
Program material is recorded on the other side of this disc...

Thanks again! I'll make some comparisons to the Image LD track and sync it (and I Am Cuba) if it sounds better.

It doesn't sound too good, unfortunately.

But thanks again, HippieDalek! Always good to compare all available editions, and I think we've now exhausted them all for Kane - with the second Image LD being definitive.

Good to know. Looking at your blog it sounds like it uses the same audio as the image release.

I still think it sounds rather bad, but did anyone save the Criterion LD track? I must've deleted it at some point.

Just trying to be as complete as possible when making comparisons.
