Can you tell me in which screenshot, and in which part in particular? Thanks!

Don't know if this will help or not, but over on that russian tracker if you type "robocop fullscreen" you will find a 4x3 copy (inside of a trilogy download, you'll see what I mean when you find it)

The source itself isn't great, but maybe if you can layer it with what you already have, it might produce a better result.

here's the screenshot comparisons between the BD and this full-screen copy:

Thanks for the input Jerry!

The fullscreen version is interesting; sadly, the quality is not that great... I guess if there is an HD version, but I don't think so... plus, the fullsceen has more details on top and bottom, while criterion have more details on left and right:

at least, it could be used for an axis-aligned polygon version: https://fanrestore.com/showthread.php?tid=20

I will see if I can find a better source for that one. The one interesting thing about it (although I'm not sure how accurate it is) is that it seems to have a slightly different color-grading than the BD/DVD that appears to be more "vibrant."

According to lddb, there was a Pan & Scan release on LD: http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/09618/ID51...%281987%29

Criterion is the best transfer out there. The skies aren't blown out like on the Blu-ray.

It's most noticeable in the first (vest, face and right hand) and third (face, shirt and ceiling). There is also a bit of it in the second one (in the smoke). It seems to also be present to a lesser degree in the after shots as well.
