Thinking about picking up the BD set since its pretty cheap for all 4 movies.
However I was wondering how well are the audio mixes represented on the DTS-HD MA 5.1 tracks? Any added foley effects or general remix nastiness?

Watched them recently. All new remasters and didn't find the audio offensive in terms of new sound fx that stuck out but saying that I'm not that familiar with the films.

The transfers are pretty good.
Bar the annoying updates to there logo's, Warner seem to be pretty good at updating there masters.
I really liked there recent Batman 4k remasters picture wise, although the updated audio is a mess without the option of the original mixes.
I am so glad Lethal Weapon does not suffer this.
I certainly didn't notice if anything had been screwed with.
It would of been nice if they offered the 'Director's Cut's' as an extra.
I really like the additional material included with the first film.

I bought years ago the UK box set with the retro documentary, and I'm quite happy with it. I paid about 15 bucks for the four films.
The LD of course have a slight edge, but this is only if you're really crazy about the series. Overall, these are nice to own.
I agree the DC of #1 is really good, own the NTSC disc with the DTS soundtrack.

Warner tealed everything when they did these and others of the same vintage.
