Thor Ragnarok IMAX version
#1
Hey everyone, I have the Russian Blu-Ray remux of Thor: Ragnarok which happens to include the IMAX scenes within it. However, the aspect ratio of the IMAX and scope scenes do crop out at the sides at times. Since I am horrible at this stuff, I can send the Blu-Ray file to whoever wants to have a crack at it. Just send me a PM.

Thanks Smile

There's nothing anyone can do to bring them back without having access to a fuller version.

Seems like it didn't add but I meant to ask if someone could crop it to 1.78:1 for the IMAX scenes and fix the 2.35:1 scenes with another blu-ray rip that I have

Grabbed it myself and I see what you mean now.

Not sure if it's cropped or just badly framed.

Anyone else have an idea because there's nothing in the actual release description as to where the source comes from?

This is taken from the 3D Blu-ray release (as are any of the IMAX Blu-ray rips of Marvel films). Meaning that you will occasionally get some left-side pillarboxing happening due to the need for the two images (left and right) to be played that way in order to get the proper 3D effect on your screen.

Some people have gone through the painstaking process of removing the left bar, however I believe that results in some minor cropping on the top and bottom to make up for it (unsure).

Where can one find the cropped versions, I can't seem to find it even in the most obscure of places

The only one that I know of was cropped and regraded by a person called KK650. Start your search there. The only film I know of that they worked on was Captain America: Civil War.

All the seeds seem to be stuck at 46%. Guess I missed out. Thanks for the information though.
