So as of 2021, the 1999 DVD release of The Shining is the ONLY version that has the original English Mono audio, which is strange especially how the recent 4K UHD HDR release of Full Metal Jacket (1987) includes an official Mono soundtrack.

Nope. LaserDisc. Scroll up. It is however extremely irritating that it's yet to be included on Blu-ray/UHD. Frustratingly common. Thanks given by: Onti

Probably yes, would need to be resampled to fix PAL speedup though and most likely isn't meaningfully different from the US cut edited down. If you're really itching to check though, yeah, sure. EDIT: There's one in France but honestly I feel like that seller consistently overprices literally every single LD they have for sale. I wonder if they basically don't want to sell any of them but putting them up with ridiculous prices means they can justify their collection to somebody else by going "See? I'm trying to sell them!" Like I've seen this same person list LDs for multiple hundreds that were available elsewhere for double figures.
