The 45th is LV22062, the 50th is LV22068. I've got LV22062 but not LV22068 or any of the others. If anybody wants it, I can capture the audio *with* the video. I was planning to anyway, but I could potentially prioritise it. Would that matter or is there a decent Blu-ray?

It SEEMS like the 50th (LV20068) might be the best. I have a synced copy but I'm still tinkering with the others. Thanks given by: pipefan413

Has anyone done the audio for Santa Claus Is Coming To Town? I've trying to sync the mono audio from the Region 1 Sony Wonder DVD up to the bluray but have been having trouble with it.

It's A Wonderful Life: Quote:<1991 Republic Pictures LaserDisc: Generally the most detailed of any of these editions, but also riddled with distortion in many scenes. (I think I have a high tolerance for noise, but even I think it's intrusive!) Very likely an untouched transfer without any mastering work. It's difficult to say whether the distortion is due to transfer issues or if it was all (pretty impressively) attenuated for later editions. This was probably released in the late '80s. The two above LaserDiscs are LV22060 and LV22062 respectively (OP seems to have the 45th and 50th mixed up), and seem to be the best two available audio tracks. The 45th would seem better overall, since a bit of high-end detail lacking seems better than the distortion of the previous. Miracle on 34th Street: Quote:Among the editions represented below, the 1993 Fox LaserDisc easily sounds the best. The earlier LD, while hissier, is less detailed. The 1997 LD is the first edition to exhibit noticeable digital intervention (mastering) and doesn't sound any better for it. The DVDs sound like the 1997 LD but with more neutral equalisation. The 1993 LaserDisc is 8505-80. As for what to sync to: For Wonderful Life, the 4K (or the remastered Blu-ray) would be the best. For Miracle, all the Blu-rays seem to have the same discs, so any of those would work.

Does anyone have White Christmas' LPCM track from this release?
According to the jacket: Quote:The original magnetic master had dissappeared some time ago and only the optical soundtrack remained. To achieve the brilliance of the original, magnetic Music and Effects tracks were remixed with the Optical track, resulting in this full fidelity soundtrack. I'm curious if it is superior to either the 5.1 or mono tracks on the Blu-ray. Thanks!

Does anyone have the 1993 Fox Laserdisc [8505-80] of Miracle on 34th Street? If so, can you PM me a link, please?
