LMAO
Since you're in a PAL region, is your player capable of playing NTSC discs as well?

Holy sh*tballs batman!!
16 players?! WOW! That is insane. Why would you need so many of them?
If you would really be willing to capture it for me, then I will purchase the disc as soon as I have a little extra money (should be within the next couple weeks or so) and I'll PM you, so we can discuss details there. Honestly, since I don't have a player, I would just let you keep the disc after it's captured and let you add it to your enormous collection

Jerry, you are very kind! Indeed, a new title is always welcome in my huge collection!!!
About players: this is, sadly, an ancient technology, and in the future a player will, sooner or later, have a problem, and probably a piece will be not available, or a person who can fix it will not exist anymore, so I thought to grab as many as I can, so I hope to be able to play a disc in, let's say, 2050, with one (or more) surviving player!

If I were to purchase a laserdisc player on Ebay, is there something I should be looking out for? Are all pretty much capable of outputting a decent signal to capture?

@ Andrea - No sir, YOU are the one that is kind by offering to capture the disc
@ deblock - Hmmm... what do you mean by "what are you donating?" ?? I plan on purchasing the NTSC CAV Laserdisc of "The Lion King" and have Andrea capture it properly. Don't see any active ebay posts for it, but it's available on amazon... Used copies start at $30 and new at $35: http://www.amazon.com/Lion-Deluxe-Letter...B003624C3U

Is the Lion King on laserdisc the same as the film release?
