I was looking for anterograde amnesia related movies, while I found this interesting website about neurologic disorders movies, with some reviews:

WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE (1993) seems like it's conspicuously absent but I don't actually remember if they explicitly state that the character played by Leonardo DiCaprio is autistic or if I just gathered that that was what they were going for. Either way, it's a pretty impressive performance imo that doesn't shy away from being honest whilst also not turning ASD into a superpower (as one could argue RAIN MAIN did, because of muddling ASD with "savant syndrome") or misunderstanding what it is in some other fundamental way as media often does. I've not seen it in a while, actually.

Also Remember Sunday (2013) is absent - even if it recalls 50 First Dates, it's still a pertinent one.
