I don't own this movie (yet), but I have seen the Nostalgia Critic's review of it. He panned the movie but praised Michael Jackson and the Smooth Criminal scene.
BTW, the DVD and Blu-ray are the 2005 edit. The differences in the Man in the Mirror scene from the Blu-ray (2005 edit) vs. the LD/VHS (theatrical cut) are documented here:

This is great. I own the 2010 blu-ray and the Amazon digital version. Great quality, but obviously they are censored. This project is game changing.

I don't know if you know it yet, but apparently PLAION will be releasing an UNCUT blu-ray in April.
