Yes Amazon better DVHS After all, it is a digital source with a good encoding and there are many comparisons, later I can place them, I have an Oar version although there is an Open Matte Amazon from the AMC + channel but it is very problematic, but without controversy It is the best image quality source Open Matte.

I was looking to maybe doing a regrade of the OAR to look more like 35mm prints but its in the early, early stages.

If I recall someone was doing a project with the OM and I want to steer clear of that. I don't want to step on their feet.

It was SpoRv for open matte. And I started to see if I could do something for scope. But I haven't gone back to that for years, so go ahead, no worries. I have to resume work on my regrade of T2 anyway.

The Open Matte version based on AMC+ was actually done by me, not SpoRv, which I have already given to PDB, but if he wants to do his own version or anyone else for that matter I have no issues with stepping on feet etc:

True Lies OM AMCP with HBO inserts (Frame Fixed + Re-Grain Super35 80%) 38.14gb

Frame fixed AMCP (both duplicates, strays & missing using decimate in Avisynth and manual smart render removal for remainder).

Frame fixed HBO (both duplicates using Premiere and a few strays manually using smart render removal) & color matched to AMCP using individual scene LUT’s (created using Dr Dre’s tool) in Premiere.

Commercial fade outs / fade ins (14 in total) replaced with HBO source. A few scenes in HBO had slight digital corruption (and one unfixable duplicate frame) so had to invisibly edit at fade out/fade in points instead of at scene change during these points.

STARZ source used for End Credits as HBO finished slightly early.

Re-grained in Premiere with Filmconvert Super35 grain plate at 80% transparency (after numerous tests) to give it a more filmic quality & hide compression artefacts (Encoded using Tune:Grain & CRF:16 to preserve as much grain and transparency to original source)

Fully frame-synced to Bloodsuckerz D-Theater (Custom) frame count.

Both Custom DTS-HD MA 5.1 + 2.0 + D-Theater DTS 5.1 sourced from Bloodsuckerz as well as synced Cinema DTS (Default).

English Subtitles sourced from Bloodsuckerz.

No, wasn’t me Stamper, I only used AMC+, HBO (maksnew supplied) and STARZ (only used for credits as was slightly zoomed/cropped). Didn’t need an alternative source for corrupt HBO bits as editing at fade in/out of AMC+ was undetectable at edit points.

the R6 DVD from Excel Media in China had a DTS-ES 6.1 track (Matrixed but full bit rate). I have a copy of it somewhere so can supply that if needed

Yes, apparently I have a DTS ES track from a Chinese disk, not from Japanese. About which I mentioned above. This sound I gave me sporv, but unfortunately he could not send DTS LD he was elsewhere, which in the near future he could not get, but it was about a year ago)
