Thanks, I'm curious to see what you come up with.

Yeah, sorry I was talking about X5gb's project. I didn't want to speak out of turn. Actually, the download failed for your OM TL X5, I'd still love a copy.

My project is out there so plenty of room for other TL projects. The more the merrier. I'm just seeing wat I can get for audio right now.

I would love that. I assume it is a remix like the Chinese DVD of Abyss? How many of these Chinese DTS-ES DVDs are there I wonder?

I’ve got the DVHS rip and both LaserDiscs, the latter not captured yet. I’ve never done an A/B but I’d say the DTS on the DVHS and DTS LD have got to be the same, and are both fantastic.

Best I ever heard it was 70mm SR mag. Words cannot describe how good it was.

I'm sure it was great. My best sound experience was also a 70mm Dolby SR magnetic, but it was even older, from the analog era: The Abyss. That soundmix was from another world.

You mentioned that you had the C-DTS. Are you referring to the Cinema DTS discs from the theatrical 6 track from original release?
