Q. No Escape (1994)
#1
I have the Umbrella (AU) Blu-ray and it's 2.0 stereo.

But the age-old HBO DVD (US) had a 5.1 track and the credits list the films as Dolby Stereo Digital.

Anyone know if this was 5.1 in theatres?

And if the German BD's 5.1 track is legit?

Thanks.

I saw it in 70mm so probably Dolby Surround. 5.1 might just be an upmix.

Didn't realise it was shown in 70mm. Can't find any listing for it.

Wouldn't a 70mm screening have a 6-track soundtrack? Either 5.1 or 4.2?

It's likely then that standard theatres shown this in 35mm in 4-track stereo.
