Looking likely we won't be getting a decent release of this any time soon, I was thinking about syncing a mono mix with the Blu-ray.
Does anyone have the mono from any older home releases? I'm going to bet no one has an LD. Anyone have the IVL DVD or even VCD?
Thanks.

Well I checked and sorry to say I don’t have that dvd around anymore, Neon. I have the deltamac for 2 and 3 but can’t find the dvd for the first one. All I can find is the remaster Fortune Star dvd for number 1.
Sorry about that.

according to ofdb.de:
The Deltamac is said to have Mandarin and Cantonese in Mono,
the IVL is said to have Cantonese in; DTS 6.1-ES discrete, Dolby Digital 5.1 EX, Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono and Mandarin in Dolby Digital 5.1 EX. Seem to be same as on the JoySale/fortune Star trilogy set Disc.
The Taiwanese VHJS is said to be about 2 minutes longer than the normal hong kong version in 18 scenes, with mandarin mono and chinese and english subtitles.
Dutch and UK DVDs only seem to have 5.1 audio.

I believe that’s the one I have Neon. The one from yesasia. Same one MrBrown pointed out. The disc has long since been ripped and stored away but I do remember that cover.
Media info confirms a 2.0 but I don’t know if mono or mixdown. I’ll upload the mkv for you. Give me a few days.

Don't quote me... but I think the Joy Sales 2.0 is a downmix.
While the HK BD is an upscale...
