A months-long project is complete as I have finished upscaling all 104 episodes of "The Wild, Wild West" starring Robert Conrad and Ross Martin. This is another series that I believe will never get a proper HD release, so I did it for my own collection. Season 1 is in black and white, all other seasons are in color. 4:3 1440x1080 HD upscale using a combination of broadcast hardware and consumer software. Color seasons have been regraded as well and they look fantastic. I know this is a niche series and will probably have little interest but thought I'd throw it out there if anyone is interested.
Episodes are uncut and sourced from the original DVDs. PM if you own the original set and would like this upscale effort. The entire collection is 212GB. Cheers to all!

Just awesome! Yes and also I'm sure the original DVD sets are from HD masters.
One of my friends actually bought a Jim West costume from Bob Conrad. That lucky bugger got to spend an afternoon with him and now the costume, on a mannequin, is hanging at his house. For the price he got it, it was a bargain.

Hi newbie, read the rules!
On the costume my friend bought subject, he added some details... Turns out he actually bought the costume bidding on an auction site, he didn't mean to get it, and he bid a very low 3 figures number.
Next day he wakes up, and turns out there were no other bidders!
So he got a James West costume for half the price of the lesser Apple Macbook Air.
He met Conrad on another occasion and got drunk with him!
Just incredible.

I’m looking into what it would take to colorize season 1 using AI tools. Still looks like a daunting task.
Has anyone attempted this?
As a newb I am not slowed to PM you for 60 days, but would love your 1080p as a starting point, vs ripping from my DVDs and upscaling. I always felt season 1 got a lot of restoration applied to it versus the color seasons which sold for less and seemed more compressed, unless the nature of black and white gave them more “bits” to work with since no RGB values involved.
