Some people like doing it themselves whether or not someone else already has.

Depends on the sync. I've had syncs that have taken hours and ones that have taken 10min.

The real question is what is the benefit to this 2.0 mix over any of the expanded 5.1+ mixes that have been released? I've heard the blu/atmos mixes are very fun.

Very few take 10 mins unfortunatly.
The 5.1 on the 1st DVD is a bit more bass heavy than the atmos, especially after the dialnorm is off
