James Bond Connery Collection

Dr. No is incessant grain halos from the titles to at least Honey's introduction. Then they're either gone or obscured by the backgrounds. The new scan is great so it's just modern tomfoolery.

The audio is hell. The mono is a tweaked version of the scrubbed BD mono. The Atmos remix is a nightmare of extreme noise gating, noise reduction, mashing together the mono and the mono isolated m&e, not caring to get the music edits right as they redid all the music placements and of course odd bits here and there in the dialogue track are either obscured or missing entirely.
The Atmos mix is utter filth. I've only gotten 35 minutes into rewatching the film with it and already I've taken extreme amounts of notes. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

Is it me or the opening sequence on both the Mono tracks of Thunderball are woefully mixed?

I cannot barely hear what Bond and the female French agent are saying, the music and effects are loud enough though.
