Can anyone explain the name to me?
Why on Earth is it called "Ash vs Evil Dead" and not "Ash vs THE Evil Dead"?
The former suggest that he's fighting some dude named "Evil Dead" and the latter that he's fighting a dark legion... an army if you will.
I dunno, I find the name just awkward to say.

No idea myself. When the show first popped up I used the only to realize it was not right. Evil Dead 2 and the remake, Evil Dead, both drop the so maybe it's a rights issue. Or maybe they are just trying to be clever.

Agreed and I'm happy to see Ted Raimi is in the 2nd season.

Well, bummed the show is over. Had it’s ups and downs but overall I loved it and was happy to have Bruce back in the role of Ash. Worst of all was the finale and setup for the next season was pretty awesome looking. Oh well. In the end it was like 7 or 8 new Evil Dead movies and that can’t be a bad thing.

I'm sad it's all over, too, especially with Bruce having indicated that he's done with the role completely. For me the show was fun, but never on the same level with the movies. I felt like the second season was a little more consistent than the first. Haven't seen any of season 3 yet, though. How did it measure up to 1 and 2?

I think the setup to the next season was better than they would have executed. Feels like like the original Army of Darkness ending, but better. A great place to stop.
I HAVE heard rumblings about having Ash's daughter front any continuation. I wouldn't hate that, especially if the rest of the Ghost Beaters were on board, but without Campbell I'm not sure I see the point.
Edit: I don't know about the 'same level as the movies'. I'd swear they ended the series because Hollywood ran out of fake blood.
