Of the latest unannounced remasters, only Enemy of the State 1998 appeared on Amazon and D+, but also only 1080p

Encoding on DSNP is very bad, PDB tried his best to fix it, but can’t work miracles. PMTP Amzn, while not perfect is alot better due to higher bitrate, only issue was occasional duplicate frames due to 24fps frame rate, easily fixed slowing down to 23.976 and manually removing duplicates using smart render (time consuming though) rather than full on re-encode.

I can't find the PMTP AMZN, and that would be too much trouble afterwards and out of my league anyway, so I'll stick with the DSNP until a UHD appears. Maybe next year for its 30th anniversary.

Yes, now it looks nice and there is no hardsab to indicate the location.

It's a bummer for the lack of time and space information on the master for Enemy of the State though, as I seem to remember those appeared progressively, accompagnied with a sound effect, kind of the same way the Bourne films did it as well.

Yea, for us English speakers the lack of the hard subs on the Amzn EOTS remaster was not a good thing.

Not just for English speakers, for everybody. I'd rather have the original ones, especially when they're fancy looking, plus an extra generic subtitle to translate them, than just generic ones for each language that don't appear progressively (and in the correct font) as they should to match the electronic sound effect.
