Inspired by PhysDigiCollCorn's Reborn and noogai3's LD audio syncs, I decided to do one for Toy Story 2 by ripping the audio from the Ultimate Toy Box DVD and the full screen version from the standalone disc (since the latter contains bloopers) as these are Dolby Digital EX encoded and I heard that it might be closest to the original theatrical mix released to theaters.
One minor note, the DVD is missing a frame of footage during the scene where Utility Belt Buzz laments the "loss" of his "father" which I have to add a millisecond of silence just to keep up with the Blu-Ray copy which was used as a reference for syncing.
Speaking of the Blu-Ray release, the AC3 track is synchronized to the 2010 copy as current versions cut out the "casting couch" gag from the blooper reel in the light of the sexual accusations towards John Lasseter (a disgraced co-founder of Pixar). Also, the audio needs to be delayed by 17934ms with MKVToolNix as the Blu-Ray uses the 2009-present re-release masters (in which the Pixar variant of the Walt Disney Pictures logo is replaced by the 2006-2022 CGI castle logo). I might do an audio hybrid version with the edited version of the credits though if I can get my hands on the current 4K and/or Blu-Ray releases)
Even though the DVD's claim that the audio is encoded with Dolby Digital Surround EX, MediaInfo doesn't specify that so I'd assume you have to force it into Dolby EX with a receiver if it has that option? I could be wrong though.
The audio is losslessly combined with FFMPEG by using the concat filter.
