[Released] Gandhi (1982) LD PCM 5.0 [79246]

1994 LD [79246] PCM 2.0 decoded into 5.0 using a Shure HTS5300.  Synced to the first HDR10 release UHD in two parts and saved as FLAC.  

I also have the 2001 DVD AC3 5.1 synced without re-encoding (again, in two parts).

FYI I always advice against encoding any non-standard channel layouts (that being 2.0, 5.1, and 7.1) as PCM/FLAC. It doesn't play well with most audio processors. It's best to use DTS.

Interesting. I play all my remuxes through Ugoos/Coreelec or Nvidia Shield Pro and a Denon A1H, and I've never had any issues playing FLAC or PCM. I'm afraid I don't know how to encode as DTS. Anybody who wants to play these files can encode it as whatever they choose, I guess, seeing as its already lossless to begin with, unless I'm missing something.

Is it actually sending a 5.0 signal with the correct channel layout? From what I've seen on many AVRs is it just sends a stereo signal.

The Ugoos is definitely sending a 5.0 signal and the AVR is receiving it and playing it back perfectly.
