To save my own hide, I must explain why I'm here. Many of the films I love so dearly are stuck on revisionist Blu-rays and DVDs. It's tiring to still watch the same old VHS, DVD, or LaserDisc, knowing the Blu-ray or 4K UHD release is botched beyond belief. I want to watch my favorite movies the way they were originally released. Screw director intent. I like differing cuts of movies, but not at the expense of the original theatrical cut. That is all.
