don't know if it refers to DE DVD, or if US DVD has the 6.1 track.

Okay, I checked my HD-DVD's for the first 3 films. They have English and German 5.1 DTS-HD. RE Apocalypse is the extended version.

Yeah, but if the DVD 6.1 Track is no real new mix, and maybe just an upmix, it may be superior to the other DVDs, that only got Dolby, while the HD-DVD and BD DTS 5.1 may still blow the 6.1 DTS-ES discrete from DVD away...
So, someone, profient with Audio track analyis should check and compare... To bad I have nnone of such profiencies... I just have the track, and can say, that it sounds more powerfull, compared to the DVDs own 5.1 Dolby track. And that could be the result of the normal Dolby vs DTS differences...

THAT is really interesting...
Hope some audio guy would chime in to hear the (eventual) difference between the DVD 6.1 and HD-DVD/BD 5.1 tracks!
