Can anyone help out with the 1st Region 1 release of A Clockwork Orange?
It contains the movie in 4:3 and has the original mono mix.

I've got the mono mix if you want but not the video file.

I've got the DVD (video and audio). I've also got the first analog laserdisc release coming in the mail.

Ohhh.. the 1st analog LD? Could be interesting to compare the audio with the PCM(LD)/AC3(DVD).

I thought the 1999 DVD was letterboxed 1.66.

Yes I don't remember it being open matte.

The new UHD mono track is apparently the same, only a few DB louder. I sampled it, and it has very good bass. Edges the remix track. Already in sync. Seems like a good buy.

Vintage prints were hard matted.

Apparently only the original VHS/LD releases are open matte.

I have the french LD in wait of a sync, it's 1.66:1.
