Since Age of Ultron we know that Disney started to screw the home releases mixes.

Yep and their mixes are not great to begin with.
The days of Touchstone and their insane sound mixes are long dead sadly.
I am doing that UHD Blu-Ray to DSNP IMAX overlay for the currently released MCU movies in order to achieve the IMAX ratio but with the benefit of the UHD Blu-Ray bitrate. The masters align perfectly so it's very fast and easy. I should have all 14 movies done in very little time. They will be frame-aligned to the original DSNP masters in order to facilitate porting over the DV metadata.
Recently I have been seeing people move DV metadata from within sources so for example taking WEB-DLs DV and put into UHD HDR-only Blu-Ray Remuxes. Is there anyone here that knows how to do this process and would be willing to remux the DV metadata into these hybrids I'm making? I have found this about the matter https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/comments...dr_hybrid/ but hadn't picked my head around it. I will provide all the material (new overlaid Hybrid and DSNP WEB).

Just make sure your two sources are perfectly frame-synced. If you need help I can give it a shot. Yes indeed they do, I will be trying this in the next couple of hours when Black Panther finishes rendering. From what I understand the final file will have DV with HDR fallback, thing is I don't have a DV screen to test it on so the file will always fallback on HDR on my devices, so I can practically only test the HDR fallback and see if the mediainfo is as it should. Do you or anyone else have the possibility to test and see if the DV metadata ported correctly (visually) by actually playing it on a compatible device?
