Ugh, so two frames worth of audio in each shot is missing on the LD? Yeah, that would be a pain to fix.
Looking forward to checking out Day of the Dead, that one is my favorite (at least for visuals, music, and nostalgia) since it's the first Romero film I ever saw.
Anyone captured the classic Rambo movies? Haven't seen First Blood Part II in a long time so was thinking about doing at least that one, unless someone here has already started on them. Don't have the LDs myself, but can hopefully find them cheap enough over here.
Got a new replacement loading belt for my Pioneer DVL-909 at a specialty store in Akihabara, and ordered a replacement grip ring from ebay: 🔍https://www.ebay.com/itm/Laserdisc-Playe...3880325833
Hopefully that will be enough to get my 909 working again. My HLD-X9 is still working fine on most discs (hopefully the handful of problems I've had recently were just bad discs), but I don't like using it for just capturing audio.
