Hi all,
I have the new 4k UHD and BD set and the atmos audio is pointless! Anyone have any of the LD release they can rip and sync to a bd rip at the correct frame rate?

Oh great, they're remixing 30 year old movies in Atmos now? Send them to the Bog Of Eternal Stench!
Be warned that the old pan and scan LD has an audible glitch at a chapter stop in the scene where Jareth is sending crystal spheres out the window of his castle. It does have digital sound though. I presume that it's the same mix as the WS remaster. Also, the credits are longer on the letterbox disc, and "Underground" fades out at a different point. Can't recall if the DVD/Blu Ray are similar or shorter like the original 80's video release.

That's why I recommend to capture the video alongside. It'll will help during the syncing.

Are they keeping the older 5.1 mixes at least?
