Thanks for the clip. I see no field-blending, I do see chroma bleed (that would expected).

Thanks for having a look. If that's the case, why does it show 2 overlaid images when viewing a fields separately? Is it the chroma from the next frame overlayed?

How would you go about processing the clip without it coming out like this:

Looking fram by frame at one field, I think I see what you mean, over 4 random frames I looked at, it goes.

If this is the problem, solution is easy!
Frame 1: as is
Frame 2: mergechroma(2,3)
Frame 3: mergechroma(3,2)
Frame 4: as is

Sure, it will be a tedious task to find'em all!

I noticed there are sections where it repeats 1, 2(2,3), 3(3,2), 4, 5. Would you know how to write that as a script so I can run the whole clip though it and see how much it fixes? Or would each frame need to be done manually?

I assume we are talking about FIELDS here, and not frames, right? Are the problems in FIELDS 2 and 3, out of 5, or out of 10?

When looking at one field with Separatefields() a frame at a time, it's 2 and 3 out of 5.

What source filter are you using in avisynth? Some filters do not process the chroma in interlaced video correctly.
