I'd be concerned about Shout themselves doing any post work on the grade. Also their compression

As I mentioned previous the new master does seem to be a genuine effort to recreate the theatrical colour, although the result is typical of modern grading, ie orange/teal. Also in bringing up the blue the remaster killed the greens.

I do still think the 35/70mm timing can be restored to the old Fox/Arrow master and it is something I do think about working on

So on the topic of the original timing, I've got just the thing for that. Thanks to a reputable source, who shall remain currently anonymous by his wishes, we're theoretically able to rent out a 35mm print of the movie and scan it.

Think of all the opportunities to be had with this! We could all finally see how the movie was originally meant to be seen with all of its Cundey blues intact instead of the old recycled Fox master or the imperfect–albeit closer–Euro master! With this, we could finally see how the alley fight scene originally looked and whatnot! We could also use it as a proper color reference instead of just by memory as Zoidberg will likely be attempting!
