I've almost finished first pass at 19mbps to include it in a BD-25... let's finish second pass, and then I'll see if the grain is preserved (enough)... it should be the case, as from previous tests the minimum bitrate required to leave grain (almost) intact, for a 1.85:1 movie, is around 16mbps... finger crossed!

Finally I managed to save at least one PC, but sadly it's the slowest... I tried to encode the movie again and again, but it crashes every time... I'll be forced to get a new, most powerful, PC, just for encoding purposes - I can't wait 5+ days to encode one movie!
So, don't hold your breath, but I can definitely say it's REALLY near completion!

Actually I'm working on encoding it lossless in chuncks - I've done about half movie.
Meanwhile, it seems there is an HD extended cut: waterworld-ultimate-cut-1995-bdrip-1080p-truck-repack Extended English and French (+ subtitles) 1080p DTS-HD MA 5.1/3840 Kbps Anyone knows something more about it?
